Gordon Brown, originally uploaded by anecik_sz.

Life, if you chase it, will exhaust you to death. Time, chased as a bandit, will behave like one: always one step, one room ahead, will change the name, hair colour to run away from you. At some point we have to stop because time will never s t o p. We have to admit we cannot catch time. That catching it is not a point. We have to let contentment into our lives. Let go of control. Observe what's happening around. When we do so, life still goes on. Where did the thought that managing each moment is so important come from? Why not leave it in peace? (my translation from "Eat, Pray, Love" E. Gilbert)
